Ayu- Agni- Combination
of Sharir (Body), Indriy(Senses), Sattva (Mind ) & Atma(Soul) is called Ayu (Life). Kayagni (Agni), the supreme of all 13 agnis is the controller of this quard. 1 Jatharagni, 7 dhatvagni & 5 mahabhutagni are 13 types of agnis present in the human body. According to Ayurved Deh (whole Human body) is made up of Dosh, Dhatu & Mal and is divided into 3 compartments namey Kosth, Shakha & Marmasthi sandhi.
Kostha- Dosha- Kostha
is the compartment which deals with manufacturing process in the body. It produces raw material for all the tissues in the body. This compartment is mainly controlled by Jatharagni and contains 3 Doshas namely Vata, Pitta, Kafa. Vata is a form of kinetic energy which helps in all transportations in the body. Pitta is a form of chemical energy which performs all the transformations. Kafa is a type of potential energy which helps in structural integrity. Diseases of this compartment are generally easily curable.
Shakha- Dhatu- Shakha
is the compartment which provides structural integrity and maintenance in the body. This compartment is mainly controlled by Dhatvagni and 7 type of dhatus namely Rasa, Rakta, Mansa, Meda, Asthi, Majja & Shukra. These 7 dhatus in equilibrium maintains strength & integrity of the body. Diseases of this compartment are generally curable with lot of efforts.
Marmasthi Sandhi- Mala
Updhatu- Marmasthi sandhi is vital compartment which not only does excretion of waste material & toxins but also provides a connection between Kostha and Shakha. This compartment is mainly controlled by mahabhutagni and it contains 3 mal &8 updhatus. Purish, Mutra & Swed are three mals which gives big contribution in maintenance of body physiology & excreting toxins. 8 Updhatus are stanya, artav, sira, kandara, vasa, tvacha, snayu &sandhi. Updhatus are the connecting link between Kostha & Shakha. Diseases of this compartment are generally not curable/ partly curable.
